STREET PORTRAITS IN B/W







Black & white portrays contrast rather than different color hues which could be distracting. The contrast could give attractive attraction if lighting is prortionately distributed. The relevance of black & white pics is its enhancement of the subject making it awesome. It creates an “emotional feeling of the past, the historic and the antique unique value. Many subjects present in the streets are capable of being captured as such.
As for people in particular old people the texture of the face skin, its tone, and character would stand-out well. Character study is best using black & white medium.

Shakespeare says, ” The world is a stage.” The street is a stage. People n their actions are seen on the street. Some are natural n others queer. One needs “to stand n stare” n snap them fast with a small digital camera. These days super fast speed cameras are available.
