“The Lanterns” The Lunar Chinese New Year a local festival yearly celebrated by the Chinese Community would have a luminous sea of bright red lanterns hanging from the streets n in particular a well known Chinese Temple. “Red” symbolised prosperity for the Chinese Lunar Caledar Year ahead!

She was sorrily missed! A beauty! My own Lily Marlene. . .

The night was dark n the young ones happily plied their adventure under the red lantern like “Lily Marlene” of the cinemascope fame! “Gone were the days!”
