Aremenian Street is one of the tourist’s places that offered a variety of activities. On a certain day Chinese Opera actor n actress walked the street in their classic costumes.
There were bicycles for rental n the unique coffee houses to have a coke to cool off.
Many a time I visited this place. Each time the crowd was different. Most interesting characters could be seen walking about n snapping away views that could have been by-passed by the locals!

This was a place I frequented. I had my b’fast of black coffee plain n noodle soup, then off to shoot with the Leica Mini II loaded with Color Kodak Film 100ISO. A marvellous handy beautiful piece of design for pulling it out fast from the vest pocket n shoot! Quick capturing vivid color n sharp pics.
I posted a mixed bag of black/white photos captured at very early dawn to the interior of a wet market using the old camera Contax RTS II n Ilford film HP4.
Wonderful pleasant view for the jetty standing out in the gray sky tho foggy! Just like a water-color painting! Of course “like” of the eye differed from person to person. That’s the beauty of photography.!
The pics from the interior of the wet market were more articulate! Black was black n white was white. No lying! The awesome head n shoulder portrait with two big bright white eyes pop out like that of the “Giant Genie” portrated in the cinematograph “Aladdin n the Wonderful Lamp.” This my gray old matter immediately recalled.
The rest the lamps spoke for themselves by the bright light rays for their work done!
