The camera system consisted of Nikon D2X + Adapter + Hasselblad Bellows + Cine Lens 250mm f/8
This is shown in photo 2 from the camera back view.
A metal tube of length calculated using the simple physics optics lens formula 1/u + 1/v = 1/f where u, v & f represented object distance, image distance, n focal length of the lens. This was machined n fitted into the lens at one end n the other end fitted to an adapter.
The whole camera was set-up with frontal n back view as shown below.

Cokin filter + Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm f/2.8 + Praktica Bellow + Sony Nex 3 camera body
A bellow n lens normally attached to the camera body as was shown earlier. In this case the below was extended about half-way. Auto focus no longer possible. Focus was obtained by moving the camera n lens foward n backward on a micrometer moving pad at widest lens opening n then closed down to get a good depth of field the lens capable of for an all round sharp image.
In this case the flower was 1cm in diameter. The lens 50mm f/2.8 not much of depth of field at bellow length about 25cm . Aperture closed down to f/22.
The petals crowded n small n so difficult to get details.

Rather than delay further looking for fresh flowers in the garden I captured a bouquet of artificial flowers sitting on a basket on the table.
Being the first set I hoped to get some fresh flowers n go to the next step “extreme close-up.”
Trust this first set at normal sizes is satisfying.
Be just as colorful n happy as these flowers!
