Contemporary Portraits Shot by Self-designed Portrait Camera

I Google “Contemporary Portraits” n found a whole lot of them drawn, made in acrlyic n so on. I thought I would try do it in photographic media. So went on to design a portrait camera for this purpose. I bought an old cine camera lens n fitted it with a f/8 aperture plate in the interior front of the lens. Estimated the length of a tube using cardboard n get a machinist to machine a metal tube. The tube was fixed between an old 35mm camera body n the lens. That’s it!

Focusing is done by moving the whole camera forward n backward. For fine adjustment it is sitted on a micrometer table.

The camera is shown above. I called it “Donald Portrait Camera.
